The Class

Membership

Membership of the International Finn Association (IFA) is open to any recognised and approved National Finn Association (NFA). There are no personal members of the IFA.

There are currently around 50 member nations of the IFA, with a total of 1,800 personal members.

Membership fees are payable by the NFA for each personal member in the National Association. Places at World and European Championships are calculated by the number of personal members of the NFA. The current fee is EUR 30 per person.

How to join

To join the Finn class, sailors join their National Finn Association, which in turn is a member of the IFA. Each member receives an IFA sticker and the FINNFARE newsletter through their NFA.
